She’s one of the main characters in the new X-men prequels (a prequel is a movie that takes you back in time to see where “it” all got started…in this case, the X-Men) called X-Men: First Class. As you might guess, Emma has very unique powers. She is a very powerful telepathic…almost on the level of the X-Men’s founder Professor Xavier! Ms. Emma Frost also has the power to turn her body as hard as a diamond. Thus, this causes her body to increase substantially in strength and makes her nearly indestructible…one of the team’s most deadliest foes; at first! Her personality is extremely cold sprinkled with dashes of her dry-wit. In 2005, she was voted comic books hottest babes and followed that up with additional “top” honors in 2006 as one of the top X men in a list of 25 In 2008, she obtained 2 high-honors; number thirty out of 50 of the top comic book characters and then out-ranked more prestigious xmen in a top 200 list of great comic book roles of all time. As you can tell, she is one of the most liked and respected characters in the comic book fantasy world. In the real world, her costume is searched more times than any other named woman villain/superhero every year around Halloween. She started off as a villain of the X-Men but eventually worked with them to fight common and deadly foes.
Halloween is an exciting holiday for adults as well as children. Halloween’s origins dates back to the ancient Ireland and the Celtic people. They celebrated the end of summer by throwing a party called Samhain. For many centuries it has slowly been adopted by various religions and cultures, but from those earlier times, customs of what we know as Halloween are still celebrated.
